If you have Vista then don't bother downloading the GameSpy client as it will not work because the smartasses at GameSpy didin't bother to make a build for Vista and so it dosen't work properly. There are few things to remember, you have to join games via IP adress. People post it on there. This isn't like the good old Zone days where you would make a room advertize it and then just start the game from there. Due to this you will need to open ports 3000 to 4000 if you are using a wireless router. Alot of people play AoC with costum games, which in my opinion can be more fun then the normal Death Match, King of the Hill or just the classic match where you start from dark ages. Xx Hotshot X Report post Posted January 12, 2008 yeah but everyone plays AOC 1.0c, and we dont have a AOC 1.0c no CD crack so that wont work.. if you want to play on gamespy, update ur AOE to 1.0a and you can play with them.. 1.
