so im gettin a xbox at the end of the month, but i need some ffed back from u gamer nerds out there.

 

i asked paco this

 

1. do i need to buy the xbox wireless adapter or whatever it is to play online.

2. do i need to b uy an hdmi cable cuz i play on a new led 50 in flat screen

I got an xbox and then never got online for it cause my routers downstairs and I don't feel like paying £50 for the wireless shit thing. You'll need to buy it unless you can put your xbox like right next to your router.

 

However, xbox live is like 10x better than the PS3 online system.

You can use the composite cables that come with it for a still nice picture and if you don't have your router to use a ethernet cord near your tv yes you will need the wireless any questions pm me

Buy both. If wanna slave some $ just forget about the hdmi cable.

You can hook it up with an ethernet cable or wireless with the adapter.

And you can hook it up with a hdmi (better graphics than av cables)

if your router is close to ur xbox u need an ethernet cable thats it. if not yes

You don't need to connect your Ethernet cable to your router, mine is connected from my laptop to my xbox. You just need to bridge the connection.

 

(I think that answers the wireless question)

Yeah you gotta buy the HDMI and you don't need the wireless adapter if you're going to play wired.

Wow I wasn't even aware that that was possible and I've had this xbox for like 15 months, could have been owning it up online all this time...
