@Matt Report post Posted May 2, 2010 After Ancient Fury beat Brutality earlier today I asked them if they would be up for a fight. I asked for them to allow us to mass for 20 minutes and we'd head up. It was 1:30 Eastern Time (way out of our timezone) and AF had already been fighting so I knew it wasn't going to be easy. The only rule requested was that the fight would consist of only single spells. Reign of Terror Starting: 183 Ancient Fury Starting: 200~ (Something like that anyways) We ran in and didn't get off to the best start, soon enough people were going AFK for lunch and we were missing our 2 main callers and really couldn't get any momentum going. Regardless we did what we could knowing soon enough the numbers would be even and our main callers would get on. After about 45 minutes of fighting we had managed to recover from earlier but hadn't yet turned the tide of the fight but that would change shortly. Soon hereafter our main caller got on and brought us together. We began piling quicker, returning faster, and spamming higher. At this point the tide turned it on our favor and we began pulling ahead, we began pulling further and further ahead and soon enough it was over. It ended still very early into our timezone (before 4 eastern) and the fight had lasted just over 2 1/2 hours. Reign of Terror Ending: 285~ (People returning - 95 on TS) Ancient Fury Ending: 0 At one point VR's week prep tried crashing but they were forced to log out within like 26 seconds lol.
