Counter Strike Source:Beta???

So I noticed lately they've made some changes to Counter Strike: Source, and when I loaded up my steam. I saw Counter Strike Source:BETA?!

 

Anyone know anything about this? I'm downloading it now, but it's a big download so it will take some time. I'll add screenies and stuff later of it.

Basically the community was getting fucked off because Valve don't actually play CS:S so they don't know about any glitches in their patches.

 

This is where "regnam" from the famous verygames team came in - he's helping Valve with source and giving them a players point of view. They got alot of angry messages etc etc from where they were releasing buggy as fuck patches time after time so now they're pretty much releasing all the patches as a beta before they add them to the actual game.
