Splodge Report post Posted September 23, 2010 So yeah I want another high end computer, basically going to get some mid range + high range parts combined, it looks like a pretty decent build. Will be using the case in this computer though, also going to put this parts in this case back in its old one. So on to the parts im getting Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) - Basically going to be SuperClocking it to 4Ghz with my rl friend (Its the 4 core version of the i5, not dual). XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 XXX Edition 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card - Already have one of these, great cards. G.Skill RipJaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C8 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit - Will be getting 2x of those, so its going to have 8GB of DDR3 running at LOLspeed FSP Everest 700W Modular Power Supply EVGA H55V Intel H55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 microATX Motherboard (111-CD-E630-TR) - Middle end motherboard Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (0F10383) Who doesn't want 1TB of storage lol Xclio Propeller Midi Tower Case with 36cm Quiet Fan on Side Pane w/o PSU - I own this case right now, it has a fucking 36cm fan on the side, cool as fuck Links to all of my parts : Processor Graphics card RAM Powersupply Motherboard Hard drive Case So how much is it going to be costing me...? Your PSU is alrite, but I suggest you go with a brand like Corsair, Enermax or Bequiet, remember, your spending a lot of money on your components. PSU+Case is what you should try and spend a lot of money on, your case can last up too 8 years, and your PSU is powering all your components, cheap\or bad brand PSUs will fry your hardware. Are you planning on overclocking your system? EDIT: Also, I just noticed you're buying a MicroATX motherboard, you will encounter no end of problems with sticking 5770 on it.
