1. Halo 2 - Honestly the only game i've played for 48 hours straight in the 7th grade over the Christmas break with two friends. Was by far the best of the halo series, and the online... can't really explain how addicted i was to this for the 3 year period where it was the only halo out.

 

2. Super SMASH bros.(original) - loved this game, still play it sometimes when my cousins come into town. This was also the first game i faked being sick to stay home in play :blush:

 

3. Mario Kart (original) - probably the best 4 player game that i ever played as a kid. Can't really explain it was just an awesome game.

 

4. Heroes of Might and Magic III - Not really sure what it was about this game that was so fucking addictive, It was a turn based TRS game. Me and my best friends played it every weekend for like 4 years in elementary and the beginning of middle school.

 

5. number 5 is probably a 3 way tie between - runescape - goldeneye (N64 version) - and the original mario party.

 

Runescape - while i will admit that i've played this game for like 6 years the last 3~ haven't been with as much pure enjoyment as the first 3 where. After a certain point you knew everything about the game, there was nothing new, no where left to explore, if it wasn't for claning i think it's safe to say most of us would not being playing.

 

Goldeneye - while i have to admit it's one of the best first person shooters of all time, nobody else in my family other then me enjoyed playing FPS's so most the time i was left playing alone, and like all FPS the real fun comes from the multiplayer.

 

Mario Party - what can i say it's like super smash bros and mario kart, another great multiplayer game, of course some of those mini games would really piss me off, but it was just another one of those game everyone could agree on to play.

 

My list could go on with more game from most recent years - gears of war/fable/assassins creed/rainbow six/guitar hero/call of duty/warcraft(RTS not world)/fallout/GTA/burnout/battlefield ect....

 

(I grew up with 2 sisters and a brother so we were almost always able to play the 4 player multiplayer in the N64 games, which is mostly what made them so great.)
