Guest Evan Report post Posted February 2, 2011 Home. You only need weights and a pull up bar (you can use those inexpensive portable ones that go on doorways), and preferably a mat. That coupled with different kinds of push ups and sit ups, you can work out every part of your body without the need for heavy equipment. Btw, running isn't the only way to do a cardio work out. Fixed up one of my rooms for something like a home gym.
 0

Lilaznboy14 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 I do both. When I'm feeling lazy to drive, I'll work out at home. I have those changeable dumbbells, 10>50, in 5 lb increments. Then I have pull up bar and also some bands for different range of motions. Then at my university, when I'm there I go to the gym. They include the gym fee in our tuition, so I don't see why I would waste that lol. I mainly use it for cardio equipment or whatever I don't have at home. Zach Report post Posted February 2, 2011 it depends... if you are really serious about lifting and want to bulk up then you're gonna want a gym. if you just want to stay in shape and get some tone then home exercises would be fine
 0
Temuz Report post Posted February 2, 2011 Gym gets me pumped up, but I never go alone, I go with friends to push myself. Plus with all those mirrors I can check myself out when I'm lookin like a boss. It's okay, I don't have mirrors in my room/house either.
 0

Lord Ximar Report post Posted February 5, 2011 Both got perks. I like working out with the Football team at my school cuz theyre serious as fuck and I always get way more pumped so I like working in gyms with other people, but if I had a power rack and everything the gym does at home, itd be really good too cuz i could look up stuff and just go try it out in the room right next to me and experiment a lot more. Both are good ways, but I guess the Gym if you got friends with you.
 0
