Soon To Be System Upgrade

Recommended Posts

So I think my GTX 480 has had enough; I wanted a cooler, quieter card while at the time getting more performance. ASUS's Triple-Slot ENGTX580 DirectCU II has recently been added to online retailers at only $5 higher than reference models; I went ahead and placed an order, will arrive in a few days.

Not sure what I'm going to do with the 480.. Sell it? Use it for PhysX?

Also, I've been running on-board audio since I got my rig, gonna just buy a cheap soundcard to complement my audio system.

Honestly don't really get why people spend $500+ on gfx cards.. Nice nonetheless.

Hell Pure

You probably don't even need that shit for what you do on your PC, but at least you didn't buy a MAC.

Don't see why you would upgrade, a gtx480 will run any game smoothly on max settings for atleast another year. Where do you get the money from anyway? It's a beast graphics card and all but I just don't see the point.
