Zero Fear1 Report post Posted February 15, 2011 Michael Bay knows nothing more than creating amazing special effects, but fails when it comes to writing a actual decent plot line. This movie is way to similar to Twilight; (quote taken from Screen Rant) the â??girl falls in love with a mysterious guy-whoâ??s-not-humanâ? romance, moody atmosphere, and coming of age storyline are virtually the same. Even the F/X in the I Am Number Four look to be on a par with that of the blockbuster teen/vampire romance franchise â?? cheesy, but overall satisfactory. The story that each super human must be killed in chronological order does bring a more X-men mutant feel to it, but once again it still has that alien love story that will for sure make this movie nothing more than a forgettable teen romance/drama that tries to mix things up by heaping on more mindless, but unimpressive action and not much else.
