XBL has been down in the past for a week too. How does that fit in your philosophy trololol. Anyway, when it gets back online, fully renewed and it doesnt get fucked again by a lone hacker or faggots, then we'll have our great online network back without paying ;)

It went down for a few days in Christmas 2007 cause of all the new players connecting to live and even then some people still managed to get online. I've haven't heard of any other lengthy downtime since then and afterward they gave everyone with a gold account a free arcade game to try and make up for it. Its not an arguable point that XBL is a better online system than the PS3's network.

 

Also I've got friends who have owned both consoles and they've all agreed that they prefer the 360. I can't really give much of an opinion though since I've played a PS3 like three times ever. Also getting into a console argument is never worth the time it consumes and rarely comes to any kind of conclusion.
