Bloodarrow42 Report post Posted May 24, 2011 I have the older version of the xbox since I bought mine a while ago, but I was wondering if the next Xbox generation will be coming out anytime soon. I was thinking on purchasing a newer Xbox because it doesn't overheat as much/make lots of noise and has much more memory. My plan was to buy the $300 one: http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-360/consoles/xbox-360-250gb-holiday-bundle/88261 I'm not sure whether it's worth buying or not because I don't want to buy a brand new 360 only to have Microsoft releasing a newer generation in like a year. Andrew Report post Posted May 24, 2011 Well you might as well wait since I think they said if you got an older xbox they'll replace it for free with the new beast. I got my xbox in like Christmas 2008, think mine will get replaced for free? By the way it isn't gonna be a totally new console, just an updated 360.
