The guy played in 14 All-Star games, won 8 Gold gloves, holds the single season home run record along with the all-time record. Heâ??s quite possibly the best baseball player to ever live. Yet, not a single person gives a fuck. Heâ??s lost all respect due to his steroid use, is hated by almost everyone, and seemed to fall off the face of the earth after being almost forced into retirement. Now, 1000 years after people cared about Barry Bonds and his steroid use, he is back in the news being tried in a federal courthouse for perjury, and I canâ??t help but wonder how much money is coming out of my check to support this big waste of fucking time. I mean seriously, why does this matter to anybody? I know lying to the government is a no-no, but this shit is beyond ridiculous. At what point does commonsense come into play during these types of situations. Canâ??t we all just agree that this just isnâ??t important anymore? The government has already locked what is likely the manâ??s only friend (Who might be the best friend this side of the galaxy) up for refusing to testify against him. Bonds is so despised he probably couldnâ??t even get a gig in the Bay Area coaching a middle school ball team. Wouldnâ??t it makes sense if we just let the man live the rest of his life laying in the shitty ass bed he has made for himself? Isnâ??t his life alone, punishment enough. Iâ??m sorry Mr. government man/people/person/thingy that has better shit to do but isnâ??t doing it. I believe I speak for the vast majority of the American people when I say fuck a perjury, focus your efforts on making sure Iâ??m not paying $5 per gallon on gas this summer or soon my broke ass is going to be riding a fuckin Huffy down highway 70 to work.
