Well I got the ring of death on my xbox yesterday :( And it's error 74, it says it could be something to do with my AV cable, when my AV cable isn't in I don't get the red light and when it is in I get it, would this just be as simple as getting a new AV cable? Because I don't particularly want to buy one and find out that the reason my xbox is broke for another reason and be out of irl £.

 

Any advice is good thanks :)

I know you can contact microsoft and you can send it in. 9/10 times they will send you a new (Used....) one. But I dont really deal in consoles anymore. When I worked at Gamestop all people did was bitch and complain about how shitty they were lol. Cpu pride son.

I'd recommend to just call up microsoft. I never got any warranty but they've fixed mine about 2-3 times for free.
