Sythersword Report post Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) torrlrorloffekorrefonfom lforeign cant read. I bought an asus laptop simply because they're superior systems and last ages, but they're not lightweight by any means. I have been very satisfied with my asus since I bought it around a year and a half ago. As far as the systems you're considering, it's based on what you want, pal. Do you want performance, the ability to download a lot of shit, etc? Edited December 13, 2011 by Sythersword

erik Report post Posted December 13, 2011 I'd go for #1 since hex>quad cores but then again you might not even need it and intel i7 quad core might just be enough It's between 1 and 2..its gonna be the same shit almost
≈Nine Report post Posted December 13, 2011 For gaming and general stuff, #1. #2 has a better CPU cooler but the CPU itself isn't that great. You can always buy a new cooler to replace the old one anyway. #3 is pretty much the same as #1 but the CPU is older (and not as good for gaming as the i5 2500k), and it has a cheap power supply. If the power supply fails it can fuck up your other components so yeah.

Splodge Report post Posted December 14, 2011 Nine's suggestions never fail mate. On the contrary, the second one is a complete write off, I don't think moneys an object here if he's asking which of the 3 should he buy. As such, any AMD ware can go fuck itself. Big no to #2. #1 has an i5 Sandybridge coupled with a 570, while this is FINE for gaming, truly you'll end up thinking, "I could of gotten an i7" and eventually upgrade. IMO due to the chipset on the board on #1 it isn't justifiable buying, it'll lack in overclocking performance and won't be suitable for anything more then it already is. #3 may have an older technology i7, however it still is AS good (Note, not better) then the i5 2500k, however it comes coupled with the same graphics card, but a MUCH better motherboard and chipset built on reliability, stability and overclocking. The third is the only 'real' gaming rig there. The first has corners chopped out of it all over the place to save some money on mass producing.

The third is the only 'real' gaming rig there. The first has corners chopped out of it all over the place to save some money on mass producing. this is dumb advice because anyone who recommends an i7 for gaming be it lynnfield/bloomfield arch its worthless. the i7 sb arch has "hyperthreaded cores" which are useless for gaming since you dont even use over 2 cores for like 99 percent of games currently. furthermore the "overclocking" needs to be discussed. a guy who isnt building his computer cannot overclock it. what? are you dumb? are you going to recommend a car because he can also enter it in a monster truck show? no you say? why then tell him its better "overclocking" also an i5 sb is i think 30 percent faster then old arch so again you clearly are in no way shape of form able to be providing information on computer hardware. i helped all my friends build/buy whatever pc's they currently are using and i saved them a shit ton of money so if you wana know what to buy i suggest you pm me but whatever you do do not listen to the ppl on this topic lol. go read a forum like overclocked.net
