I feel this same way too. I heard it's like $2 for first time players so I'm gonna try it so I get free membership on 07scape. I will most likely end up quitting after a week or even first day. Unless theres a way to bot which I'll just bot my way to 126.

As much as it seems like a good idea, the fact is that we are all burned out from so much scape. Alot of us have moved on, maybe to another game, more likely into a job or school. Yes old scape was fun and brings back good memories, but the truth of the matter is that it just won't work. It's like when they brought back the wild, the damage is already done, you put out the fire but at what cost. It won't bring back all the old clans, it may be fun for a while but runescape will never be what it used to be.

I wish I had more spare time, because then I would definitely play actively. 2006-2007 were my favorite years in the game, and I'm sure this game will be full of nostalgia. Hopefully a lot of ex-RoT can play the game together, I'm sure it'll be a ton of fun.

 

I'm sure the amount of free time we all have now is drastically less than what it was 5 years ago. I plan to at least give it a shot and see where it goes. I just hope people stick with it because if I'm gonna grind it all out again, people better be playing.
