Emotes are broken

 

There is something wrong with the whole editor which I've tried to fix. I made improvements but still emoticons aren't showing fully. I don't really want to start breaking everything down when there is a new version of IPB addressing some of the editor problems. Hopefully it'll be fixed when I upgrade.

You interested in doing sidebars or some shit? or a board header? Something just to give a new life to the forums

 

The forum currently has all of those features. If you get enough people to like your post (just to know how many actually want this), then I can enable them at some point. The reason they are turned off is because those type of features tend to overcrowd the forums and can be confusing for some people thus making them not want to return. I like keeping the forums with the very basic necessities and also have that IPB v2.3 feel.

 

What Erik said. I really hate side bars like Solace has, it looks like a clusterfuck and I couldn't care less about people's recent status updates or topics. It could get even more minimalistic and remove the "reputation" under our names since most of it was back when it first got released and every one negfucked or posfucked each other for laughs anyway.

I'll either end up removing it or just resetting everyones reputation

You need to become an Advanced Guest (auto-promote after 100 posts) to be able to change your signature.

I think you should add a 'Recent topics' and 'Recent posts' sidebar. Its so fucking convenient for keeping up with new content.

 

obviously its really nice but sometimes that means other topics don't see so much attention because people just click the ones listed rather than viewing the subsections

Small OCD suggestion would be to put the Joined date above the Posts under our avatars to give it a Bigger-Big-Small effect down the line. Just looks cleaner.
