Andrew Report post Posted January 25, 2014 (edited) Itching for some action we were excited to welcome the new clan Dynasty into our wilderness. RoT starting Dynasty - 50x We rushed Dynasty at spiders and the battle commenced. Both clans got off strong piles and we knew we were in for a piece of real action. We deployed 10 of our finest warriors to snipe their pile which helped us take a quick lead early on and sent Dynasty into some regroups. Things did not remain so simple. The dreggs still left in the clan world of Violent Resoltion showed up a little ways into the fight and started off sniping our pile, eventually getting enough members in game to maintain their own small pile. However after decades of experience of being sniped by browners we didn't let this dissuade us and continued fighting 1v2. As the fight progressed we felt the odds stack up against us as both Dynasty and VR gained numbers in game, leaving us to battle through mounting waves of cretins. A little over midway through the fight Dynasty began simply death marching around our pile along with VR, filling our minimap with plebians. This led to mass sniping which lasted for around half an hour. RoT and Dynasty then agreed to break up and restart a real fight. I'm not sure what changed between the mass sniping and restart, but RoT came out of the gates with a renewed strength. Within 10 minutes of restarting Dynasty was fleeing to regroup, allowing us to transition through helpless VR members. The final stage of the fight ended up at dwarfs. This let VR sit east of mossies to kill returners while we clashed with Dynasty at corp, but we knew things were coming to a close and didn't allow such a disadvantageous position slow our momentum. We cleared what remained of Dynasty and then chased cowering VR members from the world, ending the fight after around 3 hours. Was a challenge for us when it was 65 vs 104 (Dynasty + crashing team), but was easy afterwards when you dropped numbers and had 80 people combined.
