Early today, DI & VR officials planned a fight against each other (VR's first 1v1 fight since September 25, exactly 6 months ago this week), and they relegated DF to act as the anti-RoT AC clan. DF accepted this role on the condition that DI and VR would stop the fight when necessary to help clear RoT. RoT, ready for any challenge as per usual, massed up 70 of our finest to fight DF and any other clan that got in our path. RoT starting: 70 VR starting: 60 (highest pull since the EoS mass exodus of 2013) DI starting: 60 DF starting: 50 We arrived at the fight at 5:00 EST looking for DF to 1v1, as they have been consistently claiming they can hold their own against us. Also, we are always open to a 1v1 against a clan who thinks they will be capable of ACing us from crashing VR. Unfortunately, DF were late to the party, so we began fighting VR and DI 1.5v1. After about 15 minutes of dominating them, DF finally arrived, turning the fight into a 2.5v1. RoT took the fight west, and soon after it became a 1v1 against DF as the DI/VR fight restarted. After about 15 more minutes of fighting, DF were decimated and resorted to having the DI/VR fight halted in order to save them from getting cleared. Over the next hour, DF, DI, and VR were forced to fight 2.5v1 in order to compete. At one point we offered DF a fight on a different world, however they refused to fight on a world without DI and VR. After a total of 90 minutes of fighting us in various combinations of 1v1, 1.5v1, 2v1, and 2.5v1, all 2.5 clans logged out. Now you might be wondering, how could 2.5 clans all end after only 90 minutes of fighting? See the timeline below for more information: 5:50 EST - RoT clears DF from the world, and begins to hit VR; DI refuses to stop the fight 6:00 EST - VR threatens DI; DI halts the fight to provide DF & VR support 6:20 EST - DF informs DI & VR they will be ending, as they are not able to handle RoT anymore 6:30 EST - DI & VR leave the world as they are unable to settle their differences, leaving RoT victorious So, with DF angry about DI & VR not providing them enough support, and with VR & DI mad at each other for not stopping the fight when RoT crashed, the DF-DI-VR alliance has crumbled after only one weekend of fighting in the post-2.5v2 era. RoT looks forward to future fights against all 2.5 of the aforementioned clans. Having 2 clans fight and 1 clan AC is highly discouraged following the series of events that unfolded today. Hopefully some of the alliance can be salvaged in order to provide RoT with competitive fights in the near future. I have to admit, fighting you all 2.5v1 was some of the best competition RoT has experienced in a while, and we look forward to more. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
