There are all sorts of evil spirits trying to do their worst to harm nature, so the druids in Taverley are doing their best to protect it. Unfortunately, they are having a few problems. Head over to Kaqemeex in Taverley to take part in the Midsummer Event. Over the next two weeks the Taverley druids are going to be needing a helping hand, so make sure you check back every day to take on the daily challenges. If you show some support, Kaqemeex and his friends may want to repay the favour and reward you. If you have ever had the urge to hug a tree, this is your chance to really show them some love and save them. Improved wilderness boss drops The wilderness bosses are now a lot more rewarding. They have been given a significant buff to their drop tables, as well as some brand new loots; The Treasonous ring, Tyrannical Ring and Ring of the Gods. If you are yet to try taking on Venenatis, Callisto or Vet’ion, gear up and give it a go! Vet’ion will drop the Ring of the Gods which will give its wearer a +3 prayer bonus, on top of that it will also act as a God item for all the Gods in the God Wars Dungeon. This ring can be imbued at the minigame reward shop to double its bonus. Venenatis will drop the Treasonous Ring which will have a +4 stab bonus. This ring can be imbued at the minigame reward shop to double its bonus. Callisto will drop the Tyrannical Ring which will have a +4 crush bonus. This ring can also be imbued at the minigame reward shop to double its bonus. The Ring of Aggression can be created by combining the Warrior, Treasonous and Tyrannical rings. You can combine the imbued rings to create an imbued Ring of Aggression. If you die with the Ring of Aggression, the three separate rings will drop. This ring can be separated into its three components after it has been combined. New clue rewards The Rangers’ tunic and medium clue scrolls are now available as a rewards from elite and medium clue scrolls respectively. stats (Rangers Tunic): Holy sandals This addition to the monk robes set will give their wearer a +3 Prayer bonus and will require 31 prayer to equip. They will be a reward from medium treasure trails. Kalphite Queen Rework The Kalphite Queen has undergone some royal surgery and now offers a much more rewarding range of drops so pop down to the hive and pay her a visit. Click zone increases A few in-game objects that you may have been struggling to click have been given a bit of a boost to the area in which you can click on them. POH amulet of glory, abyssal rifts, rope swings and wilderness levers should now be easier to click. Duel partner chat Your duel partner's chat and any game messages relating to the stake setup, are now output to the trade tab while the challenge interfaces are open. If either player closes the first or second screens the chat stops appearing on the trade tab. Clan wars tweaks A few small changes, based on feedback, are being made to Clan Wars with this update. The whole of the Wasteland map is now multi-way combat and some trees have been added. Viewing orbs will now be shown on the minimap to prevent players confusing spectators with people in the war. A new arena, Soggy Swamp, has been added to the list. This is a copy of the Ghastly Swamp, but without the ghasts, so you can battle in the swamp without their interference. The Soggy Swamp is available on F2P. On F2P worlds unavailable arenas are now easier to see. Autochat pause feature An extra right-click option has been added to the public chat button that allows you to pause your autochat and start it up again without having to re-type the message. Autochat is now triggered 3 seconds after you last spoke instead of every 3 seconds to stop you hitting the anti-spam filter so quickly. In other news… You can use one more trap than you have the level for in all wilderness hunter areas. The Pharaoh’s sceptre now has an alch value of 50,000 coins. Tool Leprechauns will now banknote tree roots. Mounted amulets of glory now list teleport locations on the right click menu. Fixed a stretching issue on the ancient d'hide body. You no longer need to be in possession of a coordinate clue scroll to claim a sextant, watch and chart. Removed the 'Use' option from the floating planks in the Northleach Quell Clan Wars map. Repaired a fence at the duel arena. The dwarf multicannon no longer always hits zero when wielding a trident of the seas. The Stronghold of Security has been updated to check for the new authenticator. other stuff Ancient, Armadyl & Bandos God books A lot of you asked for additional God books and we wanted to make sure that if we didn’t devalue the Unholy book so we've come up with the following stats. Book of Law (Armadyl) +10 Range attack +5 Prayer Book of War (Bandos) +2 Strength +5 Prayer Book of Darkness (Ancient) +10 Magic attack +5 Prayer While these all become ‘best in slot’, the Unholy book will remain the number one choice for anyone using multiple combat styles. The pages of these books will become available from all levels of clue scrolls and you'll need to complete any existing books you have before being able to select another.
