Today, on the one year anniversary of this monumental event in our history, we take a look back at the past year of the crash war, and how both clans have evolved to where they are today. October 1, 2013 - VR crashes RoT vs. DI, killing our members including ex-Jaja, Brett, and Eomeri, despite warnings from Brian289 to stop. As soon as DI ended, VR scattered, beginning a one year trend of never engaging us in a 1v1 fight. October 12, 2013 - Derek informs us of an Amber Alert for VR, after not having seen them in the Wilderness for nearly two weeks. October 27, 2013 - VR loses to DI at the Jagex Cup, a loss overshadowed by serious inner-clan drama on their TS. November 2, 2013 - VR cheats in a 30v30 fight by bringing over 35 members. In one of his most inspiring performances ever, Brian289 leads RoT to a convincing victory despite the horrible number disadvantage. November 2, 2013 - Gkef leaks VR forums, VR ends October without neither a single Wilderness victory, nor a Jagex Cup title. November 24, 2013 - In order to try and regain some momentum, VR merges with EoS, only to suffer a loss to RoT in their first PK trip as a merged clan. Inner-clan drama would ensue, and EoS would mass leave soon after. December 11, 2013 - Erik reveals the various attempts VR made to truce with RoT, despite claiming they were enjoying the crash war. Our fearless leader declined all of them. January 24, 2014 - Under a new name, EoS/RSD return to the clan world as Dynasty. VR has high hopes to leach off them to make a return, however RoT easily defeats them 2v1 in their first fight. February 23, 2014 - VR continues trying to leach off of other clans with hopes of improving the fate of their sorry clan. RoT manages to defeat DF+VR in a 2v1 Sunday fight, an occurrence which would become the regular for months to come. February 23, 2014 - After VR holds a vote on their private forums to decide whether they will close or not, Gkef offers VR an option for survival, receiving no response from VR leadership. February 26, 2014 - As reported by Brett, VR's memberlist drops to 54 members, an embarrassing low. March 23, 2014 - RoT defeats DI+VR+DF, obtaining our first true 3v1 F2P victory of OSRS. DI would leave the alliance after this fight, leaving DF alone to care for VR. April 7, 2014 - DF, VR, and an open CC of crashers lose a lengthy fight to RoT. RoT reminds the clan world how resilient we continue to be. May 24, 2014 - As Erik reports, DF & VR swapping members leads to an interesting predicament for the allied clans. June 27, 2014 - RoT ushers in the Wilderness updates with a 20+ hour PK trip, while VR teams with AF and is unable to PK due to RoT's dominant presence. July 18, 2014 - VR leaders refuse to sign VR up for the Jagex Cup alone, showing 0 faith in their members to succeed. Instead, they join forces with AF in an attempt to get a win over RoT, something which they have not been able to accomplish for years. August 18, 2014 - Erik exposes VR TS, a recording filled with awkward silences, embarrassing calling, and inner-clan drama. September 14, 2014 - After getting destroyed in the Wilderness, VR finds out DF has left their alliance, essentially leaving them and AF alone. In the subsequent week, VR's pulls drop from 60 to 30, and are no longer able to put up fights against top clans. So there you have it, a year's worth of horrible memories for VR all because their leaders have too much pride to admit their clan has problems and are too stubborn to try and solve them. While VR will deny any trauma over the past year, we feel it is important to not let this year go unforgotten. That is why on this day, October 1, RoT remembers.
