Sunday: Clan World

Well we heard earlier in the week that DI vs DF was this Sunday so we decided we’d plan for a casual trip where we kill all the AF / DF members who have been consistently 1 iteming us throughout the week. Before DF could even make it past lava tip, one of their AF members decided to stir the pot and flame us. We obviously killed him which is when DF decided to rush us. This resulted in us increasing our target pool from the people who actively crash us / 1 item us, to DF as a whole. DF would log out less than 15 minutes later.

 

At this point it was just DI left on the world so we decided to see if they were down for a fight and rushed their fall-in leader.

Without trying to sound cocky... the first 15 minutes of the fight made me think "yeah, this fight wont last much longer". Fortunately for us, VR, AF and DF (have fun crawling back to VR because of a few AF members, faggots) logged in to act as DI's snipe unit.

 

Once VR/AF/DF had enough in game to actually slow us down we decided to send 10 snipers to keep DI away from us while we mopped the floor with the VR/AF/DF 1 hits. The rest of the fight pretty much went like this: Clear all the VR/AF/DF snipers on us for 10 minutes -> hit DI's pile until VR/AF/DF got people back in game -> tank DI away from our pile -> Repeat.

 

At around 7 EST I'd honestly say we were at our strongest point of the night with over 150 options in game after clearing the snipers south of gap, 10 snipers on DI, and had gained up to 70 on TS. But to our surprise, DI decided to hand us the victory and log out.

Thanks for the fights. All flame aside, it was actually our first competitive fight in a long ass time. Was hoping it would have lasted a while longer but hey, I'll take the action.
