The End of VR

Last Sunday VR thought they beat us when they had 4 clans come to their aid, so they prepped even harder to fight us this week. VR began prepping shortly after their beating on Sunday and it was very clear that they'd try even harder to beat us this time around.

 

Their PK today was dubbed the "End of RoT". However, history will have it that 5 years ago to this very weekend we confronted a VR-led Alliance and we ran them into the ground. Today the goal was to beat VR so badly that they'd take another 5 years, another alliance, another whole group of members to even step up to the plate again.

 

Mission accomplished.

We rushed them on top of spiders and the fight got off to a messy start with the massive amount of people around but soon order came from chaos and our superior organization started kicking in. Soon enough VR were being dragged below gap, up around new gate, into the maze, and back around. It was like a play by play repeat of last weekend when VR were dismantled by our snipers.

 

30 minutes into the fight, VR had channel hopped. About 1 hour into the fight VR officially called a mass-snipe and at that point the fight was just about sealed. We chased them around as they death marched east to west and back around, it became clear they were simply running out the timer on Di/Df's fight.

 

Eventually, the timer ran out early. Di/DF ended their fight in the last half of it in order to save VR from being cleared from the battlefield. However, their plan was to force us into single and call it a night. Some nights that might of worked.

 

Tonight was not one of them. With over 120 active we held our ground around greater demons as Violent Resolution, Divine Forces, Damage Incorporated, Ancient Fury, and Echo of Silence tried to swarm us. Di/DF's ts numbers dropped as quickly as VR's morale did and that combination proved too potent for them.

 

Soon our piles began slicing and dicing their momentum from having over 200 people converge on our fight. They were fighters without a cause, and because of that they abandoned GDS. We held our ground for about 10 more minutes until it was clear that Di/Df/Vr, for the most part, were absent. We got a fall in and rushed them at old gate just as DI/DF were logging and VR got the memo and followed, not before having many people die to our ending fall in.

 

Easily one of the most one-sided fights in RS history. As far as RoT/VR go, I can't remember the last time we've beat them this bad. Was definitely some good nostalgia.
