Tuesday - DI & Alliance in P2P

Since their influx of intros arrived from Anonymous Community last week, the leadership team of Damage Incorporated has put on a new face of courage and activity, bringing about a reinvigoration of the P2P wilderness. Despite this burst in membership activity and strong ties with their various allies, DI has been defeated by RoT twice this past week, on both Wednesday and Sunday.

At 18:20 EST, we got word that DI was out PKing with over 50 people. We were eager to follow up our previous performances with another strong showing. We quickly massed up 50 of our own and headed towards RDG to scout for DI. At 18:25, we killed a few DI members, causing the rest of the clan to log in. For the first 10 minutes of the fight, we dominated DI at the gate, likely due the fact that we were actually fighting 1v1, a concept unfortunately foreign to most clans nowadays. Soon after, we began noticing members of the alliance creeping up on the fight. Ancient Fury, a clan we nurtured during their infancy, showed up as a unit to try and crash us from the East. We chased them all the way to Gap Vents and then to GDs, where DI would eventually rush us, initiating another battle.

Unfortunately for the alliance, our tactics in GDs warfare are second-to-none. As usual, we spread out inside the hut, focusing on killing anyone who came inside. This allowed us to concentrate our quality members and build strong piles on DI members. AF continuously tried some unusual tactic of mass logging in and hitting our pile, however their attempts were unsuccessful, not unlike their conquests into the wilderness over the past 6 years – RoT would immediately hit their team on login, preventing them from doing any real damage.

At 19:15, DI ran to New Gate, providing us with the perfect opportunity to clear AF & VR from the battlefield. We thought DI were done; however, to our surprise, DI rushed in after we were done clearing their allies. This attempt to come back into the fight would be futile, however, as we dominated DI from this point onward, forcing them to call off returning by 19:30. At this point, we cleared the remaining alliance members from the world, and then took ending, with over 70 strong RoT members left on the battlefield.

DI's quality was already really bad outside of a few core members, then they decided to dick themselves further by wholesale accepting former members of a glorified masser cc... it's like they want to make the game as easy as possible for us
