derek Report post Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) think people were expecting a tough boss with sick mechanics; first of all, its a slayer boss. the precedent of slayer bosses is kraken and thermy (haha.. ahahahahaha). albeit this one is probably slightly more challenging, the mechanics of current osrs is a little limiting. although zulrah was challenging when it first came out, its now more than likely trivial for most; with a majority of the deaths coming from rng via range attacks in its mage form. unfortunately in the combat system we have, i dont think there will ever be an "epic" boss - only certain differing mechanics that people will take maybe a day to master e: this isnt an appeal for eoc, but i cant think of a single tough boss that came out in pre-eoc aside from nex (which was mostly due to the absurd damage she did), but i believe they said they cant do what they did with her. if they can, then hopefully there will be more "epic" bosses on this game Edited August 30, 2015 by Derek Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Even the fairly well-designed dg bosses became trivial once people got them downloaded and stopped partying with retarded randoms who fucked everything up.
