@Matt Report post Posted November 23, 2015 VR went out on a week prep tonight and planned with DF and AF to have the three of them fight us. However, Di ended up fighting Df so that left us with AF+VR. However, the difference today was that VR came with their HP capes and a long prep with the sole intention of "Retaking the throne" (their words, not mine). Anyways, they pulled like 115 people. We only had 80. Not even including AF in that picture and any other clan would of backed down, luckily we are not any other clan. Reign of Terror Starting: 240 Violent Resolution Starting: 345 Ancient Fury Starting: 100+ The fight took place all over deep wilderness, with Downfall, VR, AF, Jaja, Di, and DF2 all being on the same world it was very messy. However, we were able to pin down VR by rotating through their calling rotation and leaving them unable to keep momentum. We did surprisingly well considering a whole team crashing us on top of fighting outnumbered by 1/3. We knew that playing it slow and steady would yield us the result we sought. We managed to fight for about another hour before DF2 and DI ended their fight, at which point DF2 came and crashed our fight. This same scenario has gone down countless times throughout this war against the anti-rot alliance and we knew that it was simple: Tank them east towards Greater demons and they wont have the organization to use their numbers effectively. As the clan world saw yesterday: Sometimes fighting is all about tactics, not about throwing 115 people at someone and hoping to defeat them. Of course, once they were unable to pin us down in GDS they decided to call it a night before they hemorrhaged numbers on TS (they had already begun by the time it ended). We collected ourselves and walked towards members gate to see where AF+VR had gone to, where we found VR dd'd against members gate however upon rushing them they logged out. VR bailing from us and logging: Reign of Terror Ending: 285 Violent Resolution Ending: 0 Ancient Fury Ending: 0 Note to AF: Start sucking up to VR more, you'll need their members for the Jagex Cup.
