For over two years, VR has been victimized by RoT, without ever being able to reply - despite planting dozens of spies in their clan, forcing them to sub-50 pulls for an entire calendar year, reducing them to a clan incapable of signing up for the 2014 Jagex Cup, and inspiring them to form a 5+ clan alliance in order to take us down, there never dared say or do a single thing to us, because deep down they knew we were better.

That remained the case until this week. On December 31, VR called out RoT to a "1v1", trying to put on a strong face for the first time after being bullied by us for over two years. We knew they had prepped in advance for this. We knew they had DF and AF prepared to join them. However, we did not care. We were ready to prove to the world that we are better than VR - that we can beat them under any circumstances - just like we've done throughout history.

RoT Starting:


With both clans pulling over 130 people, it appeared that both RoT and VR were ready to give it their all. We set out for our promised 1v1 at 5:00 EST, surprised to learn VR had decided to hit Downfall, likely looking to find a way to avoid their plans with RoT. However, we were not about to be stood up, so we headed to VR's world and hit them right away. To say the beginning of the fight was a slaughter wouldn't do it justice, so I'll just say that VR was reduced to mass sniping within the first thirty minutes of the fight, and let your imaginations fill in the rest. We took their 100 mass snipers to RDG, where we transitioned through them for an entire hour.

 

Around two hours into the fight, VR started running all over the wilderness, rarely being able to fight back. We chased their regroups around for another few hours, continuously outperforming them whenever we were in a 1v1 fighting situation. If it were not for the overloaded servers causing players to go invisible, VR would have likely been cleared from the map at various points throughout the fight.

At 9:00 EST, VR gave up on their conquest against RoT and ran to East Tree to hit DI, hoping they would end their fight against DF so that their allies could aid them in their fight. RoT chased them, initiating a mass snipe fest between all four clans that would last another hour. At 10:30 EST, VR ran to GDs for their proverbial last stand. We continued transitioning through them while they literally couldn't get a pile for the entire time they were there. At 11:00 EST, VR officials informed their members they were done fighting RoT, leaving us victorious as the last clan standing after only six hours of fighting.

Thanks to Downfall, Damage Inc, Divine Forces, Future of Old Style, and Jaja for your participation and/or anti-crashing services, giving us the perfect opportunity to enjoy a clean 1v1 against VR.

After over two years of embarrassing moment after embarrassing moment, I honestly thought VR couldn't outdo themselves; however, I was proven wrong today, when I saw such a poor performance from them after they had publicly called us out. I really hope the new year doesn't cause VR to regress to their form in 2014, but after today's embarrassment and your imminent loss in the Jagex Cup finals, I think it's unfortunately becoming more and more likely.

Only VR could call a clan out after posting a week prep (and after prepping their allies) and then get absolutely demolished for hours to the point where their callers don't skull/call on a pure account with members returning in Adamant until they end despite having another team on their TeamSpeak

 

9 deaths in 6 hours sniping (that's when you know), probably was one of the most one sided fights I've ever been apart of - see you in the JCup
