Is it hard to get into rot?

Seeing these posts of guys with 4000+ posts in communication with other members that are getting declined. Is it pretty much impossible to join if you don't know the leaders etc? Am I wasting my time? :cry:

but yeah it's nearly impossible to join if you don't know people, I'd say idle in #rot and get to know people but it usually doesn't work out. Joining CWA teams such as Imperium and Martians are a good way to make some friends in RoT as well as learn some basic warring stuff
