Is it possible to join RoT based on DMM alone?

I stopped playing Runescape long ago, well the real one that is. I've always stuck around to private servers and enjoying the experience elsewhere. The communities were always better and it was flooded with all of the aspects of the game I hated.

Putting that aside, Deadman Mode is something that I really, really have found interest in, being one of the people that have no life, I plan to play DMM seasonal as if I don't have a life. Every season, until it's gone. The competition to me is just too good to pass up.

 

However, RoT requires that you have a combat level of 120 to join.

 

What if we're not interested in the actual game, and more so of this new game-mode that they've introduced. Will RoT be offering ways to join through being positioned in the ranks, or even invited to future tournaments?

Well, I went through the first five pages. So it's not like it's a super frequent question. I know plenty of people simply from DMM and being in the Tournament. Hell, there's even scouts for me inside your clan that warn me when they're coming my way. That's fine though, stay in your groups. Every time I see one of you solo you get speced out anyway. Kinda like the last 3 assassination attempts on rob. Get cucked.
