Your only real option if youre actually serious about joining is to get to know people over a period of at least 3 months before even introing. By all means if you actually do know people here, try and rekindle your friendships but chances are you don't know anyone well enough to get given a shot at joining just like that. Hang around IRC, crash vr when you know they're pking & even join one of those shit teams that some rot members are in; if you want to get to know people.
