@Matt Report post Posted February 6, 2017 After their humiliating defeat yesterday we knew FOOLS would be sour. Just how sour, we'd come to find out today. The so called "Independent clan" was forced to break every single rule and tradition that has guided them in the past few years. So Sad! That's probably the true victory for RoT today. Not only did we defeat FOOLS, we made them sell themselves and their values out which is the ultimate defeat. Maybe their annual closing comes early this year. Reign of Terror Starting: 90 FOOLS Starting: 120 - Crashers who aided FOOLS at various different stages of the night (Bad!): 1. Brutality: 90 2. AF: 130 3. DF: 75 4. VR: 45 5. EoS: 12 6. Vitality: 20 We found them deep in their timezone and with a heavy numerical advantage over us, but this did not deter us. We ran into them head on and the fight began. It was clean for all of about 2 minutes at which point Ancient Fury showed up. Now, this is where things got interesting. Traditionally, Fools would ask at this time if the fight should be stopped to allow for a clean fight. Today, they had other plans. They wanted the help. They needed the help. Within 10 minutes, the entire anti-RoT alliance was there. We called up some clans to hit the crashers allowing us to focus on FOOLS, and while we weren't able to fight 1v1, 4v1 was more manageable than 7v1. Our tactic was simple, which was to exploit FOOLS weakness of getting clumped together to wipe them out in seconds with barrage. We did this easily over 20 times tonight. Within 40 or so minutes, the crashers had mostly given up, leaving us with mostly FOOLS to focus on and that's precisely when things went south for them. They were never able to recover after that. We sensed their fatigue and weakness and punished them for it, forcing them to log out shortly after. Perhaps a little disillusioned with their current situation they didn't even bother telling the clans helping them to log out, which allowed us to wipe them out as the final icing on the cake.
