Billgodyz   Report post Posted December 20, 2009 Rap metal act Rage Against The Machine have snatched the Christmas number one from X Factor winner Joe McElderry. The band topped the chart with their 1992 hit Killing In The Name after an internet campaign to keep another of Simon Cowell's acts off the festive top spot.  McElderry, 18, took his defeat graciously, saying: "Fair play to the guys who have organised the Facebook campaign - it's been exciting to be part of a much-hyped battle and they definitely deserve congratulations."    Basically every year the X-Factor (UK American idol) winner becomes the Christmas number 1 with some shit song (Last years winning song and X-mas no.1)  This year a Facebook group was made that told people to buy a Rage against the machine song to make it No.1 and it won earlier today  Discuss  If you watch x-factor and bought that song - go die Share this post Link to post Share on other sites 0
