King Millsy Report post Posted May 27, 2010 50 cent lost 25 Kgs for a new film role: Shocking photos have been released of US rapper 50 Cent looking gaunt and almost unrecognisable after shedding 25kg in just nine weeks. The multi-millionaire has lost the weight in preparation for a film role where he will play a cancer-stricken football star. 50 Cent went on a liquid-only diet and worked out three hours a day in order to complete the staggering transformation, the Daily Mail newspaper reports. PHOTOS: Best big screen transformations The 34-year-old hip-hop star dropped from 97kg to just 72kg in a bid to look authentically ill in Things Fall Apart, a movie he is co-producing as well as starring in. When the photos of the skinny 50 Cent were posted on his website rumours quickly spread over the internet that they were a hoax. But the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has since confirmed they are genuine. "I was starving," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying in a statement. 50 Cent said he was now back on tour and returning to a healthy weight. "I've been eating.
