schalke Report post Posted June 17, 2010 (edited) So I've got a bit of extra cash lying around from birthdays, holidays, and graduation and all I have is the original grey playstation so I figure it's time for an upgrade. I'm heading off to college next year and wanted to know which of the two I should get so I can get used to it before moving out of my paretns house. If you could list reasons why one system is better than the other(gaming quality, online community, extra features, etc.) that would be fantastic. I like that the ps3 has permanent online and is a more laidback online environment, but I've also heard that the 360 is better gameplay and has better games. Opinions? Ps3 Seems to have more single player exclusive games which are cool like ratchet and clank a crack in time and future tools of destruction, theres imfamous littlebigplanet and the almighty god of war 3 and metal gear solid 4. 360 Has THE best multi player games like call of duty halo and gears plus some good exlusive single player games as well. (not to mention halo and gears have good campaigns plus amazing multiplayer.) Theres mass effect (better then all ps3 games) fable 2 crackdown forza 3 splinter cell conviction left 4 dead 1 and 2, if theres more i missed they probably werent good enough to be remembered. Bottom line, if you won't play online much ps3 is for you. They make up for the server costs by charging you like £30 for a headset and all the other shit that doesn't come with your console. 360.
