Two 6970's in crossfire are a bit cheaper but run better than a single 6990 (an antilles is essentially two slightly underclocked 6970s)

 

If some doesn't have space for two 6970s I'm not sure why anyone would spend so much on a card when their mobo/case is so small.

Read about it earlier, looks amazing looks similar to my current card. Also Nvidia did a dual CPU card but it didnt take off like this. This is a huge success.

 

2 x Crossfire of this card will result in a town power shortage, lol!

Better in terms of what? Nvidia cards are just huge heat generators, I preffer ATI. I've got a 6870 and it performs really well, I'm sure that the 6990 will be a good card.

If I buy an graphics card I want to know it works, every ATI card I've had (even my current) had issues.
