The sleek new look, the new pin as tab option, and the speed increase in just about everything is what made it superior to Chrome. The fact is, you can do a lot more with Firefox than with Chrome. Chrome is a browser mainly used for searching and browsing. Firefox is for everything. Firefox has great stability on just about all websites handling media, pictures and just about everything else. Firefox is known for it's stability as well as options to customize it exactly how you want to. Firefox is just...the big boss man on top. Simple as. Now, Chrome on the other hand, is just a fast browser used for browsing the web, but due to it's lack of media stability It's horrible for youtube, or any movie watching, etc. It's only really useful for roaming through the web. Internet explorer on the other hand, is just considered as well as used as a default. You can't bash IE for coming out with new versions. It's a default browser. It wasn't made to be better than anything, nor are they really trying to compete with Firefox or Chrome. Of course they're trying to feed off of them, and make their browser a bit better as time goes on, but the truth is, Firefox will always be the all around browser for absolutely everything. Chrome, will be for browsing purposes and browsing purposes only. IE will be used as a default when you buy your machine, keeping it as your default browser is up to you. Satan Report post Posted March 25, 2011 The only reason IE is still used by more people is because it comes pre-installed on peoples machines, if people who are new with computers had any idea that what they are using is shit/clow & not secure I'm sure they'd switch.
