Xbox or Ps3 - Which one to Get

Recommended Posts

Bloodarrow42

Yeah I had the old xbox 360 and it broke down like 3 times and I had to call microsoft to get it fixed. I'm planning on either getting the new xbox 360 or a PS3. Need help on deciding. (PS: Don't just say whichever console you have, but actually mention the positives/negatives of each)

Xbox

I have like 25 games for it already. But realistically speaking, I only play like 2-3 of them.

New xbox doesn't have red ring problems as much.

Ps3

No online costs.

Blu-ray player (I already have one though)

Is there anything bad with Ps3's online multiplayer gameplay? Like is the only issue that it's not as competitive?

no i dont think so, unless you take into account hackers are on sony's ass atm. but i wouldnt let that stop me from buying a ps3. i just like xbox better because i find multiplayer to be more fun when its competitive (halo, cod, battlefield) the only thing that would push me to buy a ps3 now would be the blueray player, but you have one.

Everything that comes out for the cod games comes out on xbox first. Then comes out on ps3 like 2 weeks later lol.

PS3. I have a 360, PS3, and Wii. They're no comparisons between the three. PS3 is the best by a long shot.

I was considering the PS3 this time around. Is the 160gb (the cheaper one) enough memory? I'm assuming it will suffice.

Xbox. The online experience is so much better, and you're more likely to keep your credit card and other details away from the general public.

Competition wise I don't really mind if I'm playing people who are less competitive, but I hear that all the time. I just never understood how it was technically "better".
