@Matt Report post Posted January 19, 2015 In the fall of 2013, VR initiated a crash war against RoT, a move which would begin an obsessive tirade against RoT by VR over the next 17 months. RoT would continue our trend of dominance, while VR went without a 1v1 fight for an entire calendar year and essentially became a crashing clan.In the summer of 2014, AF (a clan we nurtured and grew under our wing for several years in the original game) began mass-recruiting VR members into their clan, hoping to compete against the giants of P2P, while giving VR members a hope of success in the game. AF would subsequently suffer from the VR influence, and began crashing RoT at all our subsequent fights. Over the past few weeks, DF and DI and their confused leadership teams have switched back and forth between siding with RoT (for the greater good of the clan world) and siding with VR/AF (in an attempt to try and get a rare victory over RoT).Last week, DF and DI made it clear that they'd be siding with VR/AF from now, effectively bringing together clans #2 through #5 in an alliance for the first time in RS history. This week, we knew on Sunday we'd have both the challenge and the honor to be teamed against by the entire clan world, and we were ready for the challenge.Reign of Terror Starting: 300~Damage Inc. + Divine Forces + Violent Resolution + Ancient Fury: 500~We won this fight before it even started. I've seen it before, there are certain days where we take no prisoners. There are certain days that absolutely nothing will stop us. It's a tradition of greatness that transcends eras and leaderships. Today that greatness was on show for the rest of the top 5 to see.We rushed Damage Inc. at members gate on World 82 and the fight got off to a roaring start, for us anyways. A couple of people were already calling that we'd win this fight before the hour mark, but I knew that this Alliance were gonna go down kicking and screaming. I knew they were gonna fight at every part of the wilderness and attempt every tactic in the game to stop us today. They had to.And they did. They did mass-logins, they spammed public IRC's to come attack us, they ddosed the world and our members, they regrouped from single to spiders to members gate to greater demons down to poison spiders, corp beast entrance and back around multiple times. They had p2p teams camp returners, they pulled out all the stops on this one and they came short.This fight might have been a bit more difficult but honestly our intel on all clans was on point tonight. Teamspeaks were echoed, TS/CC numbers were fed to our officials, callers were not allowed to function. Our snipers made sure of that. We chased them at every corner they fleed to and after being thwarted for just about 5 hours they called it off for good.Never before has one single clan taken on the #2, #3, #4, and #5 clan at the same time and won. Today, and until another clan accomplishes this, we are the most dominant clan to ever play the game. Thanks to all the officials, legends, veterans, members, and applicants who made all of this possible. History can still be rewritten after 15 years of the clan world, and we did just that.
